This is the week that your dreams come true, race fans!
Nintendo’s first big post-launch game, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, drives into our hearts and our of wallets this Friday, 4/28. The game is not simply just a port of the Wii U version. It has added characters, a retooled battle mode, and a full HD graphic overhaul.
However, that is not the only game you should pay attention to. This week also gives us the release of Puyo Puyo Tetris (4/25), which I’m super stoked about. Previously, I played the demo non-stop for two weeks. Now that I’ve gotten my hands on the full game, it does not disappoint. But let’s be honest here, the characters mean as much as Drew Carey’s puns on Whose Line Is It Anyway. People play Tetris for the blocks, not scientists with Teddy Bear heads. Also on the game, you’ll find 4-player battle modes and solo, non-competitive Tetris, just the way God intended it.
But that’s not all:
