If you aren’t yet a fan of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, then shame on you. I know it had a rocky and polarizing first season, but its pulled out of that nosedive and has been soaring high since then.
As much as I’m not normally a fan of alternate reality stories, this latest batch of episodes has proven quite compelling. However, it appears that our Agents time locked in the Matrix-like prison is coming to an end as the season wraps up.
Today, ABC released a synopsis for the second-to-last episode, which airs in a few short weeks:
“The Return” – In the exciting penultimate episode leading into next week’s season finale, Coulson and the team’s victory in the Framework is short-lived, as an even deadlier enemy looms against them all, on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” TUESDAY, MAY 9 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network.
