That’s certainly the rumor going around right now, if retailer websites can be believed.
If you’ve never played a game in the developer’s arsenal, the very story-heavy, action-lite titles include The Wolf Among Us, The Walking Dead, Tales from the Borderlands, Batman, and the recently announced Guardians of the Galaxy (to name a few).
While no official word has come down, it’s being heavily speculated that the latter two games will be be receiving ports to Nintendo’s newest system.
A couple weeks ago, someone around these parts caught word that US retailer Newegg had listed the GotG game for the system, with Russian store GameBuy following suit shortly after. That’s the old news. Now, however, UK shop 365games sees that bet and raises with the Batman game.
In order to make sense of it all, GameSpot reached out to Telltalle for comment, but got only the standard “Guardians of the Galaxy is slated to premiere digitally in 2017 on consoles, PC, and mobile devices” response. No clarification of consoles, no mention of the Bat.
So, take all of this with a grain of salt, but I really hope it’s true, because I love me some Star-Lord and Rocket. Speaking of which, the game will be featured for the public at SXSW in Austin, TX tomorrow, so hopefully we’ll have some video footage to share with you at that time.
