If there’s one game studio that’s having a good week right now, it’s Tomorrow Corporation, makers of World of Goo, Little Inferno, and Human Resource Machine, all which make their long-awaited debut on the Switch’s eshop tomorrow after having been bumped from being launch titles earlier this month.
Well, on the eve of their big debut, they just announced that two of the three games will be getting a local multiplayer. World of Goo is one such game, but that shouldn’t be too much of a surprise, as the game had the same option when it came out originally on the Wii. Little Inferno‘s multiplayer, however, is a Switch exclusive feature:
“Now you can drag a friend through your personal existential crisis! It’s incredibly satisfying to rip things apart and burn it all down with a friend. Also perfect for couples.”
Human Resource Machine misses out on the fun as that game “would be too chaotic for a game that needs such concentration.”
This is great news for anyone that had previously purchased the games on another system and didn’t want to pay for the same experience another time. Or, if you’re just looking for something different to do with a friend.
Either way, the games will be out and available tomorrow on the Switch’s eshop.
