This is something I don’t do very much: report on non-Nintendo games. However, I’ve spoken here several times lately for my love of Shining Force, Fire Emblem, and other Tactical-styled RPG’s. X-Com: UFO Defense, btw, is a fantastic modern game in this series. Just saying.
At heart, I am a hardcore Nintendo fanatic. I’ve owned every console, every generation, that Nintendo has put out, including the handhelds, but my brother was a Playstation guy, and I do have an affinity for that system, as well. For the record, I have no ill-will towards Xbox. I had the original when the controllers were the size of shoeboxes, and my daughter has a One.
So, in the event I do get a PS4 one day, I will certainly be getting Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun. The game, which debuted on PC/Steam back in December, is now getting a physical release for consoles sometime this year. That is, of course, according to a Tweet by Kalypso Media:

While this news doesn’t coincide with a release date for the game, this is still newsworthy because prior to this announcement, it was unclear whether Mimimi Productions would release the game simply as DLC.
