The Punisher Goes Ballistic in New Trailer for Netflix and Marvel

I don’t know if I can handle three Marvel/Netflix series a year.  If I’m not reviewing them, I watch them with my wife, and our time for such is limited.  We’re still working our way through The Defenders!

Anyway, the next one in the pipe is The Punisher, and Netflix dropped a bomb on us all today with the first full trailer for the series:

If you’ve been watching the Marvel stuff on Netflix, then you know that Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead, The Accountant) reprises his role from season 2 of Daredevil.  If you ask me, the role couldn’t be better cast, and the action looks sick here.

Interestingly enough, the date at the end of the video is obscured, so we still don’t have an official release date.

Maybe I’ll get to finish The Defenders.

Anyway, tell us what you think of the trailer below.

Pankapu Dazzles in New Launch Trailer!

The hot, new game this week (to me) is Pankapu.  You can snag it today for PS4, Xbox 1, and PC (and you should).  While it has been officially announced for the Switch, there is no release date for it at this time.  If you’re waiting to pick it up, whet your whistle with this shiny new trailer:

We’ve got our review coming in a little bit, and (spoiler alert) the game is good.

SteamWorld Dig 2 Gets a Launch Trailer!

This week, the Switch will see another long-teased indy game in the form of Steam World Dig 2, from Image and Form.  To get hyped for the release, they put out a new trailer which showcases the various levels, boss fights, what looks like a scavenging/loot system, and hints at the story.

The game’s getting a staggered release, hitting the Switch first on 9/21, Steam the following day, and Playstation systems next week.  You can pick up your copy of the game for $19.99.

Leave your thoughts in the usual place below!

Syberia Coming to Switch!

We knew that Syberia 3 was making its way onto the Switch at some point, but now we have word that the original Syberia, the game that started it all, will also be making its debut.

Kate Walker, a young New York lawyer, is dispatched to deal with the sale of a former automaton factory hidden in the French Alps. She never thought that this task, as simple as it seemed, would change her life forever. She quickly embarked on a journey into the confines of Eastern Europe, accompanied by a very peculiar automaton named Oscar. Together they discover incredible places, filled with colorful characters, before meeting Hans Voralberg: the genius inventor, following the trails of the last mammoths found on the mythical island of Syberia, which also happens to be the last piece of the puzzle to conclude the sale and the mission of Kate.
Preorders are open now, but the game will launch on October 20 in the eShop.
