The live-action Disney reboots just keep coming. Joining the ranks of success stories such as The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast, as well as in-development films such as Lion King, Mulan, Aladdin, and a half dozen others, comes a new take on Winnie the Pooh, titled Christopher Robin.
THR is reporting that the lead on that film is none other than Ewan McGregor (Star Wars, Moulin Rouge). The film, which is being written by Allison Schroeder (Hidden Figures) and directed by Marc Forster (Quantum of Solace) will follow the titular Robin, now an adult “who has lost his sense of imagination and is a businessman focused on work and success.”
Naturally, no release date has been given the film at this point.
